Curro's NSC Matric Results of 2023

The IEB results are in and Curro's schools have once again surpassed expectations.
Here is the statement we released earlier today:

A total of 1 673 matriculants across numerous Curro Academy and Meridian campuses nationwide completed the NSC Matric exams and achieved an exceptional pass rate of 95%, further solidifying the Curro school group’s commitment to academic excellence.

Cobus Loubser, CEO of Curro Holdings, expressed his immense pride, saying, ‘I wish to personally congratulate all our talented learners and their dedicated teachers on yet another outstanding matric performance. Today is a culmination of several years of hard work and dedication and wouldn’t be possible without the support of your parents and family. The future holds great promise for our learners, and we believe all our matriculants will continue to achieve remarkable feats.’

Curro Foreshore celebrates a new milestone

It’s been a joyous day for Curro Foreshore in Cape Town too, who marked a significant milestone as the first DigiEd school within the Curro school group to witness its inaugural matric year.

Launched in 2019 as the country’s first DigiEd school, the school has been at the forefront of redefining education with a strong emphasis on a progressive curriculum, incorporating mathematics, science, robotics, and coding alongside traditional subjects.

Expressing his delight in the success of this tech-rich Curro education model, Cobus states, ‘We are exceptionally proud of our first set of matric results from Curro Foreshore. It is gratifying to see the success of this education model which was developed for a changing world and proves that new ways of learning do work. A huge congratulations to all our matriculants who have embraced this forward-thinking teaching model.’
