Aftercare

Our aftercare service is available at an additional cost, as stipulated on our fees letter. Learners are accommodated in safe classrooms and playgrounds, and the fees include lunch, supervision and partial homework support.

School transport

Our school transport service is available for learners from Grade 1 at an additional cost, as stipulated on our fees letter. We also have a supervision class for learners waiting on transport after school

The bus route operates in one-way or return, in the following areas:

• Kathu
• Kuruman (return only)
• Postmasburg (return only)

Modern classrooms

We created a safe, modern environment where learners can grow used to learning and working with modern equipment and facilities. As part of our commitment to giving your child the excellent Curro education, our classrooms are designed for good concentration and for learners to interact with the material they are learning. These include a science lab and computer lab.

Sports facilities

Our focused variety of sports and cultural activities are hosted on well-kept courts and fields – all part of our commitment to providing learners with a balanced education.

Our activity facilities include the following:

• Cricket pitch
• Multipurpose sports fields
• Tennis and netball courts

Arrange a tour

Curro Kathu has a primary school in Kathu in the Northern Cape. We provide the quality Curro education to learners from Grade 1 to Grade 7, with Grade R accommodated in our preschool building. We limit our class sizes to make sure learners get personal attention, and we have aftercare and school transport options. Teaching takes place in English and Afrikaans and they have Robotics as a subject throughout primary school.
