Team from Grantleigh Schools Places Third in World Robot Olympiad SA
17 August 2023A team from Grantleigh Schools recently coded their way to third place in their category of the KwaZulu-Natal leg of the World Robot Olympiad South Africa. The event was hosted at Curro Salt Rock, with 53 teams consisting of 189 learners from 13 schools participating in the event. Curro Durbanville and Curro Aurora also hosted their provincial try-outs earlier this month.
The team from Grantleigh Schools – Kamron Govender, Jordan Gokul, Kieran Aleka, and Anke Jansen van Vuuren – placed third in the Explorer Lite category – while teams from Curro Hillcrest also stood their ground!
