Under-19 Girls’ Tournament Structure
The inaugural girls’ division will feature 16 school teams, selected by invitation to ensure the highest calibre of competition.
Tournament details:
- Dates: 14 to 16 August 2026
- Venue: HeronBridge College, Johannesburg
- Teams: 16 invitational schools
- Format: Round-robin group stage followed by knockout play-offs
This format ensures meaningful competition, multiple match opportunities and a clear pathway to the final stages of the tournament.

Boys’ Tournament 2026 Format
The boys’ division returns with the proven structure that delivered a successful inaugural tournament.
Tournament structure includes:
- 16 teams qualifying through regional tournaments
- Four Curro-selected wildcard entries
- Automatic qualification for the top four finalists from 2025
- 24 teams competing at the Grand Finale
Key dates:
- Regional qualifiers: 17 to 19 April 2026 (hosted nationally)
- Round-robin and play-offs: 23 May 2026
- Grand Finale: HeronBridge College, Johannesburg
