Chess is more than a board game – it develops focus, strategy, critical thinking, sportsmanship, patience, and many other skills that stretch beyond the classroom.

Our open online chess tournaments for the year and scheduled and ready for primary and high school learners to show off their abilities against a local and international audience in a supportive environment.

Here are the planned dates:

• Online Tournament 1 – 14 March
• Online Tournament 2 – 13 June
• Over-the-Board Tournament (in person) – 29 August
• Online Tournament 3 – 10 October
