Aftercare

Our aftercare service is available to primary school learners at an additional cost (unless they reside in our boarding school, in which case there is no cost). Learners are accommodated in safe classrooms and playgrounds, and the fees include juice, a snack, supervision and limited homework support.

School transport

Our school transport service is available for learners from Grade 6 at an additional cost.

The bus route operates in one-way or return, with drop-off and pickup points along the following routes:

• Randfontein
• Westonaria
• Fochville
• Potchefstroom
• Stilfontein

Boarding school

Our boarding school offers safe, modern accommodation for learners from Grade 6. With a maximum of 40 learners per house, free Wi-Fi, laundry and housekeeping facilities, comfortable learning areas, and supervision by devoted staff, our boarding school is a safe, comforting home away from home.

Modern classrooms

As a Curro school, we created a safe, modern environment where learners can grow used to learning and working with modern equipment and facilities. As part of our commitment to giving your child the excellent Curro education, our classrooms are designed for good concentration and for learners to interact with the material they are learning.

We have the following specialised classrooms:

• Robotics lab
• Physical Sciences lab
• Natural Sciences lab
• Computer classrooms

Sports facilities

Our wide variety of sports and cultural activities are hosted on pristine courts and fields – all part of our commitment to providing learners with a balanced education.

Our activity facilities include the following:

• A 25-metre swimming pool
• Auditorium
• Baby pool for swim training
• Cricket field, cricket pitch and nets
• Cross-country track
• Four tennis courts
• AstroTurf hockey field (with floodlights)
• Rugby and soccer fields
• Three netball courts

Have a look

Curro Klerksdorp has a primary school in Flamwood, Klerksdorp. We provide the excellent Curro education to learners from Grade R to Grade 7 and limit our class sizes to make sure learners get personal attention. Teaching takes place in English and learners even have Setswana and Robotics as subjects. We also have aftercare, a school transport service, and a boarding school for learners from Grade 5.
