Aftercare

Our aftercare service is available at an additional cost, as stipulated on our fees letter. Learners are accommodated in safe classrooms and playgrounds, and the fees include lunch, supervision and limited homework support. We also have day-visitor and holiday visitor options available.

School transport

Our school transport service is available to learners travelling to and from our school, at an additional cost as stipulated on fees letter.

The bus route operates in one-way or return, in the following areas:

• Heidelberg:
  Sasol Dalpark, Bersig, Berg en Dal Estate, Overkruin, Heidelberg Mall, Heidelberg Clinic
• Springs and Dalpark:
  Springs Mall, McDonald’s Springs Mall, Sonneveld, Minnebron
• Sunward Park:
  Pick n Pay, Engen Sunward Park, Sunward Park Total, Choppies Brakpan, Kingfisher Avenue

Modern classrooms

As a Curro Academy school, we created a safe, modern environment where learners can grow used to learning and working with modern equipment and facilities. As part of our commitment to giving your child the excellent Curro education, our classrooms are designed for good concentration and for learners to interact with the material they are learning. These classrooms include a Robotics centre, and an IT/computer centre.

Sports facilities

Our focused variety of sports and cultural activities are hosted on well-kept courts and fields – all part of our commitment to providing learners with a balanced education.

Our activity facilities include the following:

• Netball courts
• Rugby/Soccer field
• Cricket field and nets

Curro Helderwyk has a primary school in Dalpark, Brakpan that accommodates children from 2 years to Grade 1. We provide the excellent Curro education to learners from Grade 2 to Grade 7. We limit our class sizes to make sure learners get personal attention, and they benefit from having isiZulu and Robotics as subjects. We also have aftercare and transport options, additional academic support, and a wide variety of spots and cultural activities.
