Welcome home

At Curro Academy Mahikeng, we know that learners perform best when they feel safe, supported, and comfortable in their living spaces. This is why we went to great lengths to create a warm, caring home where your child can enjoy their school years while being support academically, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

What we offer

Our delicious meals are planned by a dietician and are served in a lovely dining room. Curro Academy Mahikeng teachers and assistants provide homework assistance during study times and we arrange fun activities during weekends. Other services include laundry and housekeeping, and Wi-Fi and boarders may have visitors over weekends.

Our staff are all first-aid officers (levels 1 to 3), fire fighters, and/or safety marshals. Our boarding staff act as parents of sorts who care for boarders physical, emotionally, and spiritually. Then also liaise with the school to ensure that your child’s academic progress continues.

The housing arrangements

Primary and high school boarders are accommodated in six separate facilities. The primary school facilities consist of dormitories with only 32 boarders in total, while the high school facility accommodates two to three boarders per room.

Our boarders may decorate their rooms to make them feel at home and our boarding prefects help them to make friends and find comfort.
