Curro Durbanville High School is proud to celebrate the remarkable achievements of one of its own, Kaitlyn Rix, who has made significant strides in the world of junior golf.
Kaitlyn's journey to the top
Earlier this year, Caitlyn participated in the Western Province Junior Golf Championships for Under-19 girls, showcasing her talent in two key events:
- Durbanville Golf Club (10 January): Competing on her home course, Caitlyn demonstrated exceptional skill and composure.
- Hazendal Golf Club (13 January): She delivered another outstanding performance by continuing her impressive form.
Her consistent excellence across these tournaments led to her being crowned the Under-19 Western Province Champion.
Kaitlyn's dedication to golf has not gone unnoticed within the school community. In 2024, she was honoured as Curro Durbanville High School's Golf Player of the Year, reflecting her commitment.
A bright future ahead
