Curro Online golfer shines across Gauteng Spring Tour

A standout season from Grade 5 golfer Mienke Liebenberg has placed her among the top young players on the U.S. Kids Golf Gauteng Spring Tour, prompting recognition from Curro Online. Her eight-tournament schedule brought consistent performances and visible improvement across the tour.

A season marked by consistency

According to the online school, Mienke had an exceptional Tour. They elaborated: ‘Competing in eight tournaments across premier golf courses in Gauteng and the tour final at Highland Gate, Mienke showed outstanding consistency with multiple top three finishes for Girls 9-10 – including a 1st place win at Royal Johannesburg (East Course). Her dedication and steady performance earned her 2nd place overall on the U.S. Kids Golf Gauteng (Spring Tour) leaderboard for the season.’

Provincial colours for 2026

Mienke’s success on the tour has been followed by national-level recognition. Mienke has also apparently been selected to represent the North West Under-11 Girls Golf Team at the 2026 Inter-Provincial Tournament, taking place at Seasons Eco Estate in March 2026. This selection apparently earns her provincial colours.

This selection places her in a strong competitive environment alongside top young golfers from across the country, giving her valuable exposure and opportunities for further growth.
