The King’s School Linbro Park Matric 2022

You had a bear celebrity with a special bear identity, who helped you forget your worries and your strife. Matric is an important and often stressful year, but it’s also a time to make memories that will last a lifetime.

Your school’s teddy shared in the experience!

Let’s hear it from your head girl and boy

Head girl: Takudzwa Juru

If there’s one thing that this year has taught me it’s to appreciate all the little things in life: all the memories made with friends, all the laughs and tears. I say this because in a year that really does go by so quickly and so much work needs to be done in a such short amount of time, it’s very easy to lose track of who you are and what makes you happy in life.

My message to you is a simple one – live life in the moment, the reason why I say this is because you might end up finding yourself thinking too much about tomorrow’s problems or about next month’s difficulties. Don’t do that to yourself, enjoy life in the present, make memories that will last forever, live a happy life because a life that is lived happily has a greater chance of success. Don’t compare yourself to those around you, live your own life, be your own competition, and always look to do better than yesterday.

Head boy: Unathi Ngcobondwana

‘The only place where your dreams become impossible is in your own thinking.’ – Robert H Schuller. When I look at all the years we have spent together, I am in awe of the people we have become and the people we aspire to be. Every moment that goes by, I am convinced that the change that this world needs, lies within this grade and ultimately within ourselves. It has been a tough year with endless battles to fight but through our courage, the battle has already been won. We were born to be champions and great leaders of the future, not just in our school but in our lives, to make this world a better place. So be strong and take heart. Like the eagles we represent, be confident in the power that you hold and never doubt your abilities to be great. So, I will leave you with this, Jeremiah 29:11, ‘For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’ Don’t doubt the ability and power God has given you. You are destined for greatness.
