Head boy: Juan Greeff
When people ask me to which school I go, it ends up being a long answer. My journey with Curro Uitzicht began in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. I struggled with remote learning and missed roughly six months of school. I had just changed schools and needed to catch up on the work. Thankfully the teachers didn’t give up on me and put time aside to help. We put a plan in place so I could catch up the lost work.
I will always be grateful for what they did for me, taking time out of their day and helping me to pass the year. They changed my opinion of school and today I can say that my classmates and I feel like a family. The teachers truly inspired me and, after everything they did for me, I decided that I would like to become a teacher. I look forward to my future and I hope next year’s class will as well. Thank you for encouraging me throughout my school career. I will always have fond memories. It is something I will remember with a smile!

I began my schooling career at Curro Uitzicht just four years ago. I was wary, as I had just recovered from being very ill and had a lot of work to catch up on. This did not stop our teachers, though. Each and every one of them took time out of their day not only to help me catch up with my work but also to help me grow emotionally.
Curro Uitzicht has changed my life drastically for the better, making me the person I am today. I can truly say that Curro Uitzicht is not just my school but my family too. I will forever be grateful for my amazing friends I have made.
