Let’s hear it from your head girl and boy
Head girl: Lubanzi Mkhize
Being head girl of Curro Heritage House has been a role I will forever treasure. As I write this, I still can’t believe it. I spent my whole school career at Curro Heritage House, something I am proud of. I just hope I left a positive impression on my fellow learners.
I’ve enjoyed my time being head girl and I’m so grateful for everything I’ve learnt at Curro Heritage House. To my fellow classmates, I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you and me. I wish you all everything of the best! To the Class of 2022, this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning. May all your dreams come true and may you conquer the world.
Head boy: Matthew Rosa
I would like to start by saying thank you to everyone at Curro Heritage House for giving me the opportunity to be your head boy for 2022. It has been a wonderful opportunity to help lead the school whilst also gaining remarkable experience and growth. I will be forever grateful for this opportunity that was given to me. I would like to thank my partner in crime, Lubanzi Mkhize, for always being by my side through thick and thin this year. I could not have done it without you. To our deputies, Mohamed Salejee and Aveary Govender, I thank you for being level-headed when times were tough and for being lovely people to work alongside with, as this made the year exceptionally enjoyable.
To the Curro Heritage House staff, I thank you for putting your all into everything you do as this motivates everyone to do the same. To the future head prefects and learner mentors, I wish you all the best in your future endeavours and I shall leave you with a quote from Sun Tzu’s The Art of War: ‘Treat your men as you would your own beloved sons and they will follow you into the deepest valley.’ Last but certainly not least, to the learners, I believe that each and every one of you will achieve great things in time and our school will continue to grow alongside you all.
