Curro Wilgeheuwel’s primary school in Roodepoort offers a wonderful education to learners from Grades R to 7. We balance academics with sports and cultural activities, carefully control our class sizes, teach in English and have subjects such as isiZulu and Coding. Our aftercare is also open until late in the afternoon.

We are committed to providing learners with an excellent education. That is why the way we teach the national curriculum is based on project-based learning and self-discovery. This helps learners use their intellectual abilities to explore the learning material in a manner that makes it real to them somehow – rather than just memorising the theory. This happens through research, experiments and assignments along with regular teaching methods.
Contact UsIn foundation phase, we focus on laying a solid foundation on which all further learning is built. We focus particularly on Language, Mathematics and Life Skills. From intermediate phase, learners start adopting project-based learning, which involves self-guided research, and assignments or experiments to explore the material outside just the textbook.
'Since my daughter enrolled in this school, l am more than happy. Yes, there might be delays on how they communicate but their service as a school is great.'
'My daughter was recently accepted and what a massive difference it's made in our lives. She enjoys going to school and never complains (we used to struggle get her to school). I am very impressed with the help and attention she gets and the help. THANK YOU!'
