Imagine a school where your child is celebrated for their individual growth, where learning is fun, and where every day brings new joy and learning. At Curro Kathu’s primary school, we believe that strong academics run beyond the textbook into emotional and physical wellness. With small class sizes, a strong sense of community and staff that model positive behaviour, your child can progress through primary school in a safe, supportive environment.

We don’t just teach – we inspire a love for life-long learning. Our approach to the national curriculum is based on project-based learning and self-discovery. This helps learners use their intellectual abilities to explore the learning material hands-on, in a manner that makes it real to them somehow – rather than just memorising the theory.

In foundation phase, we focus on laying a solid foundation on which all further learning is built. We focus particularly on Language, Mathematics and Life Skills. From intermediate phase, learners start adopting project-based learning, which involves self-guided research, and assignments or experiments to explore the material outside just the textbook.
'The school provided a warm, inclusive and nurturing environment where my children quickly gained confidence and developed a genuine love for learning. The teachers went above and beyond to help them settle, adapt and thrive both academically and socially.'
'A true community, where your child is not just a number, but a member of a large family. Here your child will get the opportunity to grow to their best capabilities.'
'The school has a warm, family feel and the children thrive in the homely environment.'
From the first step through our gates, you’ll be amazed by our stunning campus. Our school’s facilities include Computer and Robotics labs and multi-purpose sports fields, as well as classrooms fitted with modern tools to discover the learning material first-hand. We also host various excursions and ‘instappies’ throughout the year.
