Curro Jewel City has a high school in the Maboneng Precinct of the City and Suburban suburb. We provide an excellent Curro Digital education to learners already enrolled from Grade 8 to Grade 12. Our unique approach to education blends lessons taught by expert teachers with digital learning material and personal attention assisting learners exactly where they need. Our classrooms and facilities embody this modern technology-focused approach, and we have early drop-off and late pickup times to accommodate your working schedule.

As part of the Curro school group, our learners enjoy preference when transferring to any school in the group. HIgh schools in the group where our learners can find particular value are Curro Victory Park and Curro Protea Glen, with Curro Wilgeheuwel and Curro Parkdene also nearby. Learners can also easily transfer to Curro Online, which is a fully online school where your child can learn from home.

A unique approach to education

We take a whole new approach. We blend traditional, teacher-led learning with the modern benefits of digital learning material. At our school, our expert teachers lead the class through the syllabus, and learners work through textbooks, and watch videos, simulations, and tutorials as many times as they need to understand what they’re learning. This is the meaning of a Curro DigiEd education – it is digital learning led by an expert teacher.

The syllabus is delivered on the Curro Learning Platform, a user-friendly learning management system that makes it easy for learners to progress through the material. Teachers can also log in to the system to see how far each learner has progressed, which quizzes they’ve completed, and where they might need additional explanation or support.

Intervention and Saturday support classes

At Curro Jewel City, we help our learners to excel by offering additional support outside of regular school times. During the week, learners can enjoy intervention lessons until late in the afternoon, and we often host extra classes on Saturdays. Learners can also utilise this time as group work, or for self-study.
