Christiaan Snyman Windhoek Gymnasium - 2014

 

Being a good student and a good sportsman is not something that comes naturally for everyone. This is not the case for Christiaan Snyman, Windhoek Gymnasium Class of 2014. No, it’s degree after degree for this talented cricket star.

Christiaan joined the Gimmies family in 2012 and for him it was an honour to be part of such an amazing and diverse school. Although he was only at the school for two years, Christiaan certainly held the Gimmies name high. ‘During my school career I was fortunate enough to represent Namibia's national cricket team for several years,’ says Christiaan.

After graduating from Windhoek Gymnasium Christiaan was accepted at North-West University where he obtained his Bachelor of Education (Intermediate and Senior Phase) degree. However, one degree was not enough and Christian is currently in Potchefstroom working towards his next accomplishment – a BCom in Marketing Management. He will graduate in 2022.

Christiaan’s parents are his biggest fans and they inspire him to be better every day. ‘My dream for the future is to be successful and the best version of myself, and to make a difference in society’. And his hope for the future of the country? That it will continue to develop leaders. With all his accomplishments and positive attitude, the sky is the limited for Christiaan.
