Ansuné Stolk, who joined Curro Kathu in Grade 8 back in 2018, is now making strides in her forensic accountancy studies at North-West University (NWU). Her academic journey and recent Golden Key award reflect the steady foundation she built during her high school years.

‘More than a school – it was a family’

Strong start, strong future

Now in her third year at NWU, Ansuné credits her high school experience for preparing her to manage the academic and personal demands of university. She continues to grow in confidence as she works towards a career in forensic accountancy.

‘I will be forever grateful for the quality of education, support, and incredible community of learners and educators at Curro Kathu. My blood will always be blue,’ she added.

Academic recognition

Ansuné recently received a Golden Key award as a second-year student at NWU, a recognition of her academic achievement and consistency. The award affirms her commitment to excellence in a demanding multidisciplinary field.

What is forensic accountancy?

The forensic accountancy programme at NWU blends accounting, law, digital forensics, communication, and investigative skills. It prepares students to work in fields related to financial crime, fraud detection, and legal proceedings.
