Curro Boarding Schools had the privilege of attending the annual Broadhurst Independent High Schools’ Expo in Gaborone, Botswana, on Sunday, 9 February. This prestigious event, which was hosted by Broadhurst Primary School, brought together over 30 schools from Botswana, South Africa, and Zimbabwe, giving parents the chance to explore high school options and make informed decisions about their children's education.
Curro’s extensive boarding network
The Curro exhibit highlighted all 11 Curro boarding schools, offering visitors a comprehensive look at the unique benefits of each campus. With boarding schools across South Africa and one in Windhoek, Namibia, Curro provides learners with a safe, structured, and enriching boarding experience that supports academic and personal growth.
The exhibit was a hub of activity, with Paul van den Berg (Project Leader: Schools and Boarding Schools Marketing), Ntando Masinga (Curro Mahikeng), Lynn Campodonico (Curro Klerksdorp), and Annemarie Joubert (Curro Klerksdorp Boarding Administrator) engaging with families and answering questions about Curro’s independent and boarding school offerings. Attendees were treated to Curro-branded shopper bags, information booklets, fact sheets, branded pens, and sweet treats, while a large screen showcased key aspects of Curro’s academics, Curro Create, Curro Sport, and the achievements of Olympian Bayanda Walaza. Even the 2025 matric teddy made an appearance, adding a fun touch to the event.
