Curro Riverside learner Alicia stars in a Netflix series

Television screens across South Africa have become familiar territory for Alicia Joni, a Grade 10 learner whose acting work continues to grow across commercials and streaming drama. Her latest on-screen appearance places her among a new generation of young performers gaining early exposure in the entertainment industry.

Alicia attends Curro Riverside, where her progress has drawn attention following a series of professional bookings over the past year.

Discovered and signed

Alicia’s entry into the industry began during an ordinary shopping trip, where she was noticed and later signed by the GAPA Agency. Since then, she has taken on a steady stream of professional work, building experience across different production environments.

Her commercial portfolio includes television campaigns for Bonitas, Hyundai, Vanish, Acc600 and Jet Stores, placing her in nationally broadcast advertising viewed by wide audiences. These roles have given Alicia consistent screen time and practical experience working on set.
