Curro Century City alumnus to study at University of Toronto

We would like to extend our congratulations to Vuyo Kwakweni of Curro Century City , who has been accepted to the University of Toronto (Faculty of Arts and Sciences). 

I am extremely honoured to share that I have been offered admission to the University of Toronto at the Faculty of Arts and Science. Over the past 12 years, I have had the privilege to get an education that has prepared me for this next part of my life. From Midrand Primary to Durbanville Primary, and finally, to Curro Century City – where in the latter years I was supported by the Ruta Sechaba Foundation – I have received a thoroughly South African education that has more than equipped me for the years to come. My gratitude goes to the family, friends, teachers, advisors and mentors who helped me build the person I am today.

I know that I am not only going as myself: I am going as someone’s child, someone’s student, a Curro Century City alumnus, and a proud South African. I will represent the Curro family well in TORONTO.
