Curro Nelspruit learner to represent South Africa at Miss Tourism World

Chriské Schwirzer, a Grade 12 learner from Curro Nelspruit, has boarded a plane to China where she will represent South Africa in the Miss Tourism World 2025 finals.

 

 

From Miss Teen SA to Miss Tourism World SA

Chriské was crowned Miss Teen South Africa in 2024 and has since been selected as Miss Tourism World SA 2025, giving her the honour of competing on the global stage. The international finals is taking place in Changde City, Hunan Province, from 12 September to 3 October 2025. Contestants from nearly 70 countries are expected to participate, with the event hosted by Beijing Chengly Cultural Development Co., Ltd.

 

 

Representing tourism and culture

The Miss Tourism World competition highlights culture, tourism, and international exchange, with participants showcasing the unique strengths of their home countries. Chriské grew up in the Lowveld surrounded by world-renowned natural attractions, making her an ideal representative of South Africa’s tourism richness.

 

A learner with compassion and drive

Beyond her titles, Chriské is recognised for compassion, kindness, and her passion for helping others. These qualities were noted when she won Miss Teen South Africa and continue to shape her role as a representative on the international stage.
