Boarding school

We offer safe, comfortable housing for learners from Grade 7. With two boarders per room, laundry and housekeeping facilities, comfortable learning areas, supervision and wholesome meals accommodating dietary requirements, our boarding school is a safe, comforting home away from home. The school and boarding school work together to ensure that learners are supported academically and emotionally. Therefore, our learners benefit from having access to live-in teachers and assistants who help with supervision and homework. A boarding school staff member resides on each floor of the boarding school and they help learners plan town trips to replenish any supplies they might need.

Modern classrooms

As a Curro Academy school, we created a safe, modern environment where learners can grow used to learning and working with modern equipment and facilities. As part of our commitment to giving your child the excellent Curro education, our classrooms are designed for good concentration and for learners to interact with the material they are learning. These classrooms include a Robotics and computer lab.

Sports facilities

Our focused variety of sports and cultural activities are hosted on well-kept courts and fields – all part of our commitment to providing learners with a balanced education. Our activity facilities include the soccer fields and tennis/netball courts.

Meridian Karino has a primary school in Tekwane, Mbombela (Nelspruit). We provide the excellent Curro education to learners from 5 years to Grade 7. As a Meridian school that forms part of the Curro school group, we are managed by Curro as part of a joint venture with Old Mutual and the Public Investment Corporation.
