Classrooms promote serenity

Our classrooms are designed to promote concentration and serenity, while our daily school times and schedules remain consistent throughout the year. This creates a great sense of security for learners prone to emotional or anxiety-related needs. We also minimise visual and tactile obstacles by considering the learning environment as a whole. Overhead lights are strategically placed, assessments are often printed on off-yellow paper rather than stark white paper, font sizes are often enlarged on assessments, and learners may apply for other assessment accommodations during exams.

Curro Uitzicht has a high school in Sonstraal Heights, Durbanville. We specialise in assisted learning for learners from Grade 8 to Grade 12 This is a specialised approach to the excellent Curro education, where learners receive additional support to achieve core academic competencies. We have small class sizes, consistent routines, on-site therapists, and we form part of the Curro school group.
