Early drop-off service

We accommodate working parents by allowing children to be dropped off at our preschool early in the morning as part of our competitive school fees and full-day children are kept safe and entertained until they can be picked up.

Holiday care

Our preschool is open during school holidays and runs a full holiday-care programme at no additional cost. Regular early childhood development activities continue within small class sizes, although we may arrange some extra fun activities during this time. We are closed only on public holidays and for specified dates reflected on our calendar.

Teachers have first-aid training

Children wholeheartedly run, climb, and play in ways that could sometimes lead to bumps and scrapes. They might also fall ill during the day. That is why all our teachers have first-aid training.

We have an on-site kitchen

As a Curro School, our menu provides well-balanced, wholesome meals which are freshly prepared in our on-site kitchen just before being delivered to the classrooms and we carefully accommodate allergies and other dietary requirements.

Indoor and outdoor play areas

Children learn by interacting with the world around them. Therefore, as part of our commitment to early childhood development our classrooms themselves are considered to be inanimate teachers of sorts. They are designed to allow maximum room for play and movement while being stimulating on a visual and tactile level.

We encourage children to play

Our outdoor play areas include jungle gyms, playhouses, shaded areas for creative and sensory play, and more. Children in our small class sizes are taken outside to play on days with moderate weather conditions to prevent excessive cold or sunburn. Additional safety measures are taken on sunny days.

Curro Serengeti is an independent school with a preschool adjacent to the Serengeti Golf and Wildlife Estate in Kempton Park, Ekurhuleni. We provide high-quality play-based early childhood development for children from 3 months to 5 years. Our school is located adjacent to the quiet, luxury Serengeti Golf and Wildlife Estate in Kempton Park, Ekurhuleni. Our school is just off the R21, but surrounded by beautiful scenery and is easily accessible via Serengeti Boulevard. Our Curro School preschool is conveniently close to many shops and restaurants, some even on the estate, and the Festival Mall is close by. We are also less than 15 minutes’ drive away from the OR Tambo International Airport.
