Aftercare
Our aftercare service is available at an additional cost, as stipulated on our fees letter. Learners are accommodated in safe classrooms and playgrounds, and the fees include supervision and limited homework support.
School transport
Our school transport service is available for learners from Grade 1 at an additional cost, as stipulated on our fees letter. Our school transport is only available in the mornings.
The bus route operates in one-way or return, in the following areas:
- Pinetown
- Kloof
- Hillcrest
- Waterfall

Modern classrooms
As a Curro school, we created a safe, modern environment where learners can grow used to learning and working with modern equipment and facilities. As part of our commitment to giving your child the excellent Curro education, our classrooms are designed for good concentration and for learners to interact with the material they are learning.
We have the following specialised classrooms:
- Interactive whiteboard and computer in each classroom.
- Air conditioning in every classroom.
- Robotics and IT labs
- Uniform- and thrift shops
- Discovery centre
Sports facilities
Our focused variety of sports and cultural activities are hosted on well-kept courts and fields – all part of our commitment to providing learners with a balanced education.
Our activity facilities include the following:
- Indoor and outdoor cricket, netball and tennis courts/fields
- Aquatics centre with a heated pool
- Fields for several other sports
- Media village accommodating aftercare, audio-visual room, and more.

Curro Hillcrest has a primary school in Hillcrest, KwaZulu-Natal that provides the excellent Curro education to learners from Grade 1 to Grade 7. We limit our class sizes to no more than 25 to make sure learners get personal attention, and benefit from having Coding and Robotics as subjects. We also have aftercare and school transport options.
