Aftercare

Our aftercare service is available to learners up to Grade 3 at an additional cost. Learners are accommodated in safe classrooms and playgrounds, and the fees include lunch, supervision and limited homework support.

Boarding school

Our boarding school offers safe, luxurious accommodation for learners from Grade 6. With only two learners accommodated in flats that have en-suite bathrooms, along with laundry and housekeeping facilities, comfortable learning areas, and live-in staff, we offer a safe, comforting home away from home. Learners enjoy free Wi-Fi and DStv, as well as wholesome, balanced meals prepared by a chef in our fully equipped kitchen.

Modern classrooms

As a Curro school, we created a safe, modern environment where learners can grow used to learning and working with modern equipment and facilities. As part of our commitment to giving your child the excellent Curro education, our classrooms are designed for good concentration and for learners to interact with the material they are learning.

We have the following specialised classrooms:

• Ballet studio
• Music class
• Fully-fitted Technology room (for Robotics, Coding, EGD, and more)
• Fully-fitted laboratory for the Sciences

Sports facilities

Our focused variety of sports and cultural activities are hosted on well-kept courts and fields – all part of our commitment to providing learners with a balanced education. These facilities are of utmost quality, just like you would expect at a reputable independent school.

Our activity facilities include the following:

• AstroTurf court
• Athletics grass track and field
• Cricket field and nets
• Hockey and soccer field
• Tennis and netball courts
• Two rugby fields

School transport

Our school transport service is available at an additional cost, as stipulated on our fees letter. The service operates along three routes (morning and afternoons respectively) across a large area with many drop-off and pickup routes.

Curro Heuwelkruin has a primary school in Myngenoegen, Polokwane that accommodates learners from Grade R to Grade 7. Our excellent Curro education to gives your child an all-round education that balances academics with sports and cultural activities. Teaching takes place in English and Afrikaans, and learners even have Robotics as subjects. We also have aftercare and a school transport service, with a boarding school from Grade 6.
