Aftercare

Our aftercare service is available at an additional cost, as stipulated on our fees letter. Learners are accommodated in safe classrooms and playgrounds, and the fees include lunch, supervision and limited homework support.

School transport

Our school transport service is available to learners travelling to and from our school, at an additional cost. The routes covered by our transport service are as follows:

• Hibberdene
• Port Edward
• Scottburgh
• Shelly Beach
• Southbroom
• Southport
• Umtentweni
• Uvongo

We also have a convenient drive-through drop-off system in place at our school, to ensure that traffic in and out of the campus runs smoothly and quickly.

Fun playgrounds and facilities

Young learners still need time to run, play, and enjoy their childhood. Our playground offers great spaces for play, including game markings, swings and a jungle gym. We also have a heated swimming pool to enjoy as part of our sports activities.

Excellent sports facilities

Our wide variety of sports and cultural activities are hosted on excellent courts and fields. This is all part of our commitment to providing learners with a balanced education that stretches beyond just academics.

Our activity facilities across primary and high school include the following:

• Amphitheatre
• Cricket, tennis and netball courts
• Full-sized AstroTurf (under construction)
• Hall with full stage lighting, sound and projectors
• Heated swimming pool
• Mini-AstroTurf

South Coast Institute for Learning Development (SCILD)

We are fortunate to have the South Coast Institute for Learning Development (SCILD) on our doorstep. Specialist therapists from this institute work closely with our teachers to support learners who experience learning barriers. Remedial support and extra tuition are offered to individuals in order to address these barriers.

Creston College has a primary school in Oslo Beach, Port Shepstone. We provide an excellent education to learners from Grade 1 to Grade 7 and limit our class sizes to make sure learners get personal attention. We also form part of the Curro school group, and have aftercare and school transport options. Our learners even have Robotics and chess as subjects.
