Our school transport service is available to learners travelling one way or return from Hibberdene, Scottburgh, Southbroom and Port Edward. This service is not included in the school fees, and the cost can be found on the fees letter (see Downloads).
As a Curro Select school, our facilities are designed to accommodate a wide variety of sports and cultural activities on the premises. The activities hosted in these facilities generally form part of our competitive school fees. Our activity facilities include a mini-AstroTurf, heated swimming pool, sports fields/courts and an amphitheatre.
At Creston College, we have created a safe, modern environment in which learners can grow accustomed to learning and working with modern equipment and facilities. Our classrooms are designed to create a feeling of learning through educational decorations, but without causing undue distraction – all supported by our competitive school fees.
As a Curro Select school, classrooms for specialised subjects such as Robotics and Technology are equipped with tools that allow learners to interact with the learned material through experiments or projects. This forms part of our commitment to expose learners to 21st-century skills. In some subjects we even utilise tablets in class to enhance the learning experience.
South Coast Institute for Learning Development (SCILD)
We are fortunate to have the South Coast Institute for Learning Development (SCILD) on our doorstep. Specialist therapists from this institute are available and work closely with our teachers to support those learners who have learning barriers. Remedial support and extra tuition are offered to individuals in order to address these barriers.
We use tablets in class
As a Curro Select school, learners use tablets in class rather than textbooks for certain subjects. This further provides learners with 21st-century skills such as research and collaboration, and helps them prepare for the ever-changing realities of tertiary studies and the workplace of the future.
