The Cambridge curriculum
We follow the Cambridge Assessment International Education which takes learners on an exciting educational journey from a young age. This international curriculum provides an advanced level of teaching with rigorous assessments and a unique approach to providing knowledge and education of realities, lifestyles, socio-economic situations (and more) of countries across the world. This curriculum ultimately grants matriculating learners access to over 600 universities in the USA (including IV League), as well as all universities in the UK.
Our method of teaching helps to develop young learners who are confident, responsible, reflective, innovative and engaged. Learners are required to handle large writing and reading workloads, challenge their own creativity and collaboration skills, and to display self-discipline, time-management and great responsibility in their work. In this way learners receive a solid foundation that allows them to progress successfully to the next stage of education.
The Cambridge pathway
The Cambridge curriculum has four stages that lead seamlessly from primary to secondary and pre-university years. Each stage builds on the learners’ development from the previous one and offers a wide range of subjects with an emphasis on English, Mathematics and Science:

As part of the Curro school group, learners in the group enjoy preference when applying to us. We are closely affiliated with Magic Beings Nursery School, whose children automatically progress to us, unless they choose to apply elsewhere. Preschools in the group whose children can easily progress to us include Curro Bryanston, Curro Chartwell, Curro Douglasdale, Curro Fourways, Sharonlea Childcare and Pre-primary, Curro Aurora and Curro Rivonia.
Activities your child can enjoy
One part of the Curro education, is that academics are balanced with sports and cultural activities. Participation in activities promote team-awareness, collaboration, and self-confidence. Our range of activities are tailored to the interests of our learners. Activities such as drama even give learners a boost in their education, because they help your child become confident in formulating their ideas and making their voice heard.
