Creston College learners win the National Ithemba Essay Competition

Creston College learners recently took first, second and third places in the National Ithemba Essay Competition. The topic was “What Does Hope Mean to Me?”

English High Schools Category Winners

First prize: Anela Vundla (Creston College) and Merique Pillay, Creston College (sharing R3 000, thus R1 500 each)
Second prize: Kayise Khumalo (Grantleigh) and Dallin Naicker, Creston College (sharing R2 000, thus R1 000 each)
Third prize: Joel Janneker (Curro Langebaan) and Mirthav Lachman, Creston College (sharing R1 000, thus R500 each).
