Curro Academy Wilgeheuwel Matric 2022

You had a bear celebrity with a special bear identity, who helped you forget your worries and your strife. Matric is an important and often stressful year, but it’s also a time to make memories that will last a lifetime.

Your school’s teddy shared in the experience!

Let’s hear it from your head girl and boy

Head girl: Siyema Nyaniso

To the Class of 2022, remember these words by Rudy Francisco: ‘The human heart beats approximately 4 000 times per hour and each pulse, each throb, each palpitation is a trophy engraved with the words “You are still alive. Act like it.”’

Head boy: Reatile Segaetsho

I just want you to know that if you are out there and you are being really hard on yourself right now for something that has happened, it’s normal. That is what is going to happen to you in life. No one gets through unscathed. We are all going to have a few scratches on us. Please be kind to yourselves and stand up for yourselves.

So, what did your teddy get up to?

Toby is ever the scientist!

Toby’s just too cool for school sometimes

Do I also have to write an LO prelim?

Hello? Yeah, call back later – I’m in class, man.

Our teddy is famous – he even has his own Instagram page!
