Curro athletes excel

Curro Serengeti athletes are flanked by their coaches Henri Neethling and Vincent Topotsa.

 

Curro Serengeti produced several top athletes at the D-17 Athletics Championships.

Melo Sibiya competed in the u-7 60m event and finished fourth and Funanani Mutheiwana, also u-7, took first place in 60m as well as the 80m event.

U-10 athlete Orifuna Mutheiwana was fourth in the 80m and 100m events while Waluna Chilango, in the u-11 category, took the top spot in high jump.

Cruz Khumalo was fifth in the u-12 and seventh in the 1 200m event while Ofentse Masilela, u-12, was fifth in the 100m event.

Mutheiwana and Chilango also qualified to compete in the Gauteng Athletics Championships.
The athletes are coached by Henri Neethling and Vincent Topotsa.
