Boarding parents or supervisors
Presently we have two supervisors with an education background who are currently teachers at the school. They live on-site and their mission is to make our boarding school a home away from home for each learner. With the new facility upgrade we will be implementing more additions that create this homely atmosphere.

Where is the nearest medical facility?
The local GP is in Langebaan and the nearest hospital in Vredenburg.
How do leave arrangements and visits work?
Learners sign in and out at reception if they leave the boarding. We have two weekend furloughs per term.
Is theft an issue and how is it dealt with?
We have no theft issue, we solve problems internally and if not resolved, we request assistance from the local police.
Who monitors my child’s progress?
The boarding school manager.
Will my child make friends easily?
We try our utmost best to assist them by creating a friendly environment.
Do boys and girls have separate facilities?
Yes, but we have a common dining area.
What is your response to bullying?
Our Curro anti-bullying policy is implemented, and we have a zero-tolerance approach to bullying of any kind.
What happens if my child is homesick?
The boarder caretakers (for boys and girls) will assist the learner by putting them at ease and the boarder caretaker will make contact with the learner’s family.
How do boarders occupy themselves over weekends?
We have a TV room, the boarder caretakers also take boarders to the local shopping mall and weather permitting, to the beach.
What kind of food is served to the boarders?
Three balanced, homely meals, with dessert twice per week.
How do parents communicate with their child?
Via the learner’s cellphone or through the boarding school manager.
