Sport at Curro Brackenfell plays an important role in promoting friendship, team-awareness and self-confidence in addition to physical well-being. While healthy competition is encouraged, the enjoyment of the game is not compromised. Culture is one of the foundational pillars of developing a well-balanced learner. Our learners have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of cultural activities, regardless of their interests and abilities in sport or academics.
Our experienced and dedicated Music teachers lead the choir activity. Our choirs have won several eisteddfods and even won kykNET’s 2019 Sing in Harmonie competition – an astonishing accomplishment for a school that has only had a choir for two years at the time.

Extramural activities are offered by external tutors or coaches. They are offered at an additional cost and generally take place on the school’s premises. Some extramural activities are aimed at improving or supporting academic learning or mental and physical development, while others are purely recreational.
Extramural activities such as drone club and robotics club help learners to develop the skills and knowledge required to understand the real-life moving result of work done on a computer, thereby laying the foundation for coding and Robotics studies offered in school.
