Woodhill College Pre-primary School
Woodhill College is an independent preschool bordering the Woodhill Residential Golf Estate in Pretoria, that provides high-quality early childhood development for children from 2 years to 6 years. As a Curro Select school, we aim to provide school fees and small class sizes that engage each child in our internally developed play-based curriculum.
What does Woodhill College offer?
At our preschool, we provide a safe, nurturing environment where children are cared for and engaged in play-based developmental activities. Through competitive school fees, our classrooms are designed to encourage educational curiosity, while our playgrounds are equipped with play structures that inspire physical development through movement and play. Our small class sizes are divided by age group, which allows our teachers to spend quality time with each child. Children further benefit by having water safety lessons, gross motor skills development, introduction to computers and music lessons as part of the weekly programme.
How does Woodhill College support my child’s development?
As a Curro Select school, our internally developed programme is designed with the Early Learning and Development Areas (ELDAs) in mind. This approach to early childhood development aims to stimulate physical, social, emotional and cognitive well-being through developmental activities and engaging play areas. ELDAs focus on aspects such as gross motor development, fine-motor development, social awareness, communication, spatial awareness and arts.
We focus on early childhood development through the ELDAs
As a Curro Select school, we incorporate the latest research in physical and cognitive development. Our small class sizes, carefully-designed playgrounds, safety measures and daily programmes make our preschool a safe and fun-filled home away from home.

Woodhill College activities
As a Curro Select school, we believe that participation in extramural activities plays an important role in early childhood development. Our daily programme is packed with a variety of physical and cognitive activities where children play while they learn, all included in our competitive school fees. Children can also participate in extramural activities, which are offered as additional opportunities to strengthen focused areas or hone certain skills. Our extramural activities are offered by external tutors or coaches at an additional cost and take place on the school’s premises.
