School transport

Our school transport service has drop-off and pickup points in many areas surrounding Ballito. Each point has a particular time by which learners board the bus, and these points are slightly different on Fridays. We kindly ask that learners arrive shortly before in order to keep to the schedule.

The bus route operates one-way or return, along the following routes:

• Blythedale on the R74
• Hilltop Estate (main gate)
• Kingston Estate (Main gate)
• KwaDukuza Mall
• Melinda Lane
• Palm Lakes (main gate)
• Seaward Estate (Ballito Drive)
• Seaward Estate (main gate)
• Sheffield Manor (main gate)
• Simbithi South/North gate
• Westbrook Shell Garage
• Zimbali South gate

Modern classrooms

As a Curro school, we created a safe, modern environment where learners can grow used to learning and working with modern equipment and facilities. As part of our commitment to giving your child the excellent Curro education, our classrooms are designed for good concentration and for learners to interact with the material they are learning.

Sports facilities

Our focused variety of sports and cultural activities are hosted on well-kept courts and fields – all part of our commitment to providing learners with a balanced education. These facilities are fitted with all the excellent equipment that you would expect at a Curro school.

• Eight-lane swimming pool (1,8 m deep, 25 m long)

Curro Salt Rock has a high school in Ballito, Dolphin Coast, that provides the excellent Curro education to learners from Grade 8 to Grade 12. Our class sizes are limited to no more than 25, so that your child can get personal attention, and we have a wide variety of specialised subjects, such as Robotics. Teaching takes place in English and Afrikaans, we are an IEB school, and we also have a school transport option.
