Early drop-off times

We accommodate working parents with a challenging commute by opening early in the morning. Children are welcomed by their teachers or teacher’s assistants and enjoy some free play before the preschool programme starts later on.

Half- and full-day times

We accommodate your household’s unique rhythm by having half-day and full-day options. These options have unique fee structures, and the core early childhood development activities mostly take place during the morning. This means that your child will not lose out on any learning if you choose the half-day option – although activities that take place in the afternoons remain developmental in nature.

We are open during holidays

As a preschool in Langebaan, we understand that working parents might not get school holidays, which could pose a challenge when children are at home. That is why our preschool remains open during school holidays with a full holiday-care programme at no additional cost. Early childhood development activities continue, although we may arrange some extra fun activities during this time. We are closed only for a specified period during December and January.

Meals are included

Our school fees include breakfast, lunch, and snacks. These are freshly prepared in our on-site kitchen and are delivered to class in time for snack time or meal time. We also carefully accommodate allergies and other dietary requirements, although we might request a medical letter for severe dietary requirements. This is just to ensure that our kitchen staff can correctly interpret and prepare food for your child.

Teachers have assistants

Our classes are divided by age and each teacher has one or more assistants up to Group 5, depending on the age group and number of children in the class. This ensures that your child gets the care and attention they need, and that they can optimally benefit from our preschool programme.

Teachers have first-aid training

Children wholeheartedly run, play, climb, and jump, which may sometimes lead to minor bumps and bruises. This is why our teachers are trained in first aid. Please note that national regulations prohibit teachers from dispensing any medicine, even over-the-counter or herbal tonics, without a valid prescription signed by a medical doctor. Therefore, when a child needs medicine during the day, our first-aid officers dispense medicine in class only if a valid prescription is provided.

Indoor and outdoor play areas

Children learn by interacting with the world around them. That is why our preschool classrooms themselves are considered to be inanimate teachers of sorts. They are designed to allow maximum room for play and movement while being stimulating on a visual and tactile level. By involving the classroom in the learning experience, your child is engaged in early childhood development even when simply enjoying some lounge time with their friends. Our stunning outdoor play areas include jungle gyms, playhouses, shaded areas for creative and sensory play, and more.
