Curro Aurora Soccer – Gositang Motshegwe high flying Soccer Achiever

Curro Aurora soccer champ Gositang Motshegwe

It gives Curro Aurora soccer management great pleasure to announce that the SA Football Association, through the University of Johannesburg (UJ), has awarded Gositang Motshegwe a national call up to join the South African Women’s u/17 National football team – having gone for the trials in March 2022. Her proud mum, Ms Keitumetse Motshegwe, has been her biggest supporter and instrumental throughout her journey.

Gositang will participate in the upcoming camp from 08th -16th April. This is in preparation for the upcoming International game against Ethiopia on the 15th April.

Gositang Motshegwe is currently a grade 10 learner at Curro Aurora High School, Sundowner, Randburg. She has been training with focus and commitment to make this squad, with her football club at UJ.  Gositang also plays a vital role in the High School’s 1st Team for soccer. She is a key striker on the field.  Last year she was our top goal scorer for the season.

Gositang is an ambassador for the school and sets the bar high, as an example to our younger learners.  Not only does Gositang achieve on the sport’s field but she is a dedicated academic. She was placed in the Top 10 for her grade this last term.  This takes extreme loyalty and dedication from an outstanding young lady, who strives to achieve her goals.  Curro is extremely proud of her and wish her all the best at the upcoming international match.
