Northriding Pre-primary’s on-site kitchen is fully equipped to prepare well-balanced, wholesome meals and snacks for children in all age groups. All meals are prepared with fresh ingredients just before being delivered to the classrooms and we carefully accommodate allergies and other dietary requirements.
For information on how our teachers store and prepare frozen breastmilk or powdered formula, please contact us to speak to a teacher.
Indoor play areas
Children learn by interacting with the world around them. Therefore, our classrooms themselves are considered to be inanimate teachers of sorts. They are designed to allow maximum room for play and movement while being stimulating on a visual and tactile level.
Outdoor play areas
Our outdoor play areas include jungle gyms, a bike track, shaded areas, swings and more. These areas are designed to encourage physical play, and generally have synthetic grass to prevent allergic reactions. Children are taken outside to play on days with moderate weather conditions to prevent excessive cold or sunburn. Additional safety measures are taken on sunny days; these will be discussed with parents after enrolment.
Early drop-off service and holiday care
We accommodate working parents by having an early drop-off service from 06:00 and full-day children are kept safe and busy on the campus until 18:30. We remain open during school holidays and host a variety of fun-filled activities, at no additional cost. The themes during this time will be communicated by the school and the programme includes meals and snacks throughout the day.
