Home away from home
At Magic Beings, we provide a safe, nurturing environment where children are cared for and engaged in play-based developmental activities. Our classrooms are designed to encourage educational curiosity, while our playgrounds are equipped with play structures that inspire physical development through movement and play. Our dedicated teachers receive ongoing training in all matters relevant to childcare, keeping them up to date with prevailing best practice.
Early Learning and Development Areas
Curro’s internally developed nursery school programme is designed with the Early Learning and Development Areas (ELDAs) in mind. The programme is designed to stimulate physical, social, emotional and cognitive well-being through developmental activities and engaging play areas.
These ELDAs focus on aspects such as gross motor development, social awareness, communication, spatial awareness and arts.
In this group, our focus is on establishing a stable, healthy routine that includes age-appropriate stimulation, tactile play, music and storytelling. Daily progress charts monitor each child so that we are able to proactively manage their general well-being.
Groups 2 to 4
Our dynamic routine for Groups 2 to 4 follows weekly themes, which are complemented by exciting, age-appropriate activities that encourage the development of communication skills, fine and gross motor skills, and concentration.
We have an exciting academic programme that we have designed to integrate with the Cambridge Assessment International Education system, which is followed at Cooper College, a Curro Select school, next to Magic Beings. All activities are linked to an interesting theme and are age-appropriate.
