At Curro Waterfall we believe that sport plays in important role in promoting friendship, team-awareness and self-confidence in addition to physical well-being. Therefore, we offer a variety of sports activities that include specialised activities such as Curro Tennis. While healthy competition is encouraged, the enjoyment of the game is not compromised.

Culture is one of the foundational pillars of developing a well-balanced learner and plays a great role in broadening learners’ reference frameworks. Our learners have the opportunity to participate in several cultural activities, regardless of their interests and abilities in sport or academics.
These activities introduce learners to valuable experiences and real-life skills that few other platforms allow. Public speaking, for example, provides learners with self-confidence and presentation skills that will benefit them well into their professional lives.
Our drama department holds various house plays every year while our choirs participate in music competitions and eisteddfods. We also have regular art exhibitions and talent competitions and our marimba band often steals the show.

We offer two Curro Create programmes aimed at helping learners develop their creative talents to their full potential. Curro Arts Superhero (CAS) is an internal creative mentorship platform with a grading element, where learners are encouraged to discover, develop and display their inherent creative talents.
Learners have the opportunity to participate in the annual Curro Create National Youth Theatre Festival, wherein schools enter a one-act play in any genre and official language. The winning plays are chosen through a series of adjudications by world-class theatre-makers, who closely mentor learners throughout the process.
Extramural activities are offered by external tutors or coaches. They are offered at an additional cost and generally take place on the school’s premises. Some extramural activities are aimed at improving or supporting academic learning or mental and physical development, while others are purely recreational.
