At Curro Aurora, we understand the value of achieving in areas beyond academics, as our approach to education is to ensure that learners are developed as well-rounded individuals. Therefore, we offer four high-school scholarship options as a reward for excellence in the following fields:
Learners in the top 10% of their grade and achieving an overall average of 80% or above may apply.
Learners who have been selected for, and participated in, sports disciplines at a district level or higher may apply; provided the sport is offered at Curro Aurora.
Learners who have received recognition and awards on a school level or from an accredited examination body, or learners who have been cast in a professional production may apply; provided the cultural activity is offered at Curro Aurora.
Learners in a leadership role who do not qualify to apply for an academic, sports or culture scholarship may apply; provided their overall academic average is 75% or above.

Learners currently in Grade 7 may apply for a scholarship for the next academic year, while learners currently in Grades 9 to 11 should apply before the end of the second term of the current academic year.
The process, dates, and full criteria are explained in the scholarship information letter available below. Applicants who are not yet enrolled at Curro Aurora should submit a school enrolment application in addition to the rest of the indicated documents. Current learners at Curro Aurora need to complete only the scholarship application form.

Ruta Sechaba scholarship
The Ruta Sechaba Foundation provides scholarships, bursaries and awards to qualifying learners at Curro and Curro-managed schools.
