At Curro Aurora, we believe that sport plays in important role in promoting friendship, team-awareness and self-confidence in addition to physical well-being. Therefore, we offer a variety of sports activities which include specialised activities such as golf, cheerleading and equestrian. While healthy competition is encouraged, the enjoyment of the game is not compromised.
Activities such as chess further help to stimulate thinking patterns such as logical analysis and problem-solving, which help to improve aptitude in subjects such as Mathematics.

Culture is one of the foundational pillars of developing a well-balanced learner and plays a great role in broadening learners’ reference frameworks. Our learners have the opportunity to participate in several cultural activities, regardless of their interests and abilities in sport or academics.
These activities introduce learners to valuable experiences and real-life skills that few other platforms allow. Public speaking and debating, for example, provide learners with self-confidence and presentation skills that will benefit them well into their professional lives. Our learners have even been featured on several media platforms for their public speaking skills.

We also offer two Curro Create programmes aimed at helping learners develop their creative talents to their full potential. Curro Arts Superhero (CAS) is an internal creative mentorship platform with a grading element, where learners are encouraged to discover, develop and display their inherent creative talents.
Learners have the opportunity to participate in the annual Curro Create National Youth Theatre Festival, wherein schools enter a one-act play in any genre and official language. The winning plays are chosen through a series of adjudications by world-class theatre-makers, who closely mentor learners throughout the process.
External extramural activities are offered by tutors or coaches and generally takes place on the school premises at an additional cost. Some extramural activities are aimed at improving or supporting academic learning or mental and physical development, while others are purely recreational.
