Infant phase: Reception to Standard 1

In our infant classes we focus on an integrated play-based curriculum with specialised educational programmes including, but not limited to: the phonological awareness programme, which is explicitly taught in small groups and includes interactive games; the Letterland integrated literacy programme; the New Heinemann Mathematics programme, which is a learner-centred approach where problem-solving is the starting point; and introduction to Robotics through Duplo Lego.


Lower and middle phase: Standard 2 to Standard 5

In these classes the focus is on perceptual development, exposure to relevant content, skills and knowledge which are required for further learning. We offer a conducive learning environment where the learners enjoy coming to school and where they acquire a love for learning that will sustain them throughout their school years.

As a Curro Select school, we acknowledge the potential in each learner to reach optimum ability; therefore, there is less emphasis on competitiveness and more emphasis on individual achievement. We create opportunities for personal growth in independence and responsibility so that learners can take up the challenge of being personally responsible and accountable for their actions in the upper school phase.


Upper phase: Standard 6 to Standard 7

In this phase the emphasis is still on establishing basic foundations, but learners are led into more abstract thought and independent work. Application of skills and concepts is also a focus area in this phase. We promote creativity and critical thinking by encouraging children to make their own choices within well-established boundaries. We also reinforce learning through practical science and agriculture-controlled experiments.

We aim to embrace 21st-century learning skills by incorporating the use of Microsoft Teams in our classrooms. By embracing innovative technology into our school, we are speaking the language our learners understand.


The Botswana PSLE (Primary School Leaving Examination) syllabus guides the diverse national curriculum and our learners further benefit from specialised subjects such as Music, Technology and Robotics.

Teaching takes place in English, but Setswana and French are offered as language options from Standards 1 and 3 respectively.
