Ambassadors of Meridian Pinehurst

On Saturday 25 May Tara Casaleggio, a Grade 4 pupil at Meridian, was asked to play for the Curro under 11 B netball team at the tournament held at Welgemoed Primary. The team won 1 game, drew 2, and lost 1. 

Well done Tara, you are a true Meridian ambassador!



Meridian equestrian team

Taylor Buckingham and Western Stormer rode in the Paarl Pony Club Interbranch Team in Dressage, Show Jumping, Showing and Mounted Games.

Taylor walked away with 14 placings! Well done!

This was followed by the SANESA second qualifier, where she won two first places, one second place with Prince Charming and with her other pony, Western Stormer, one first and one second place.

Ella and Phat Joe join Taylor as the proud members of the Meridian Equestrian Team.



Liam scores his maiden half century to clinch victory for Meridian Pinehurst

Congratulations to our under 11 cricket team, who won their match by 38 runs against Parow North.

Star batsman Liam scored his maiden half century and finished with 52.

Junior Cape Argus Pick n Pay Cycle Tour 

Thomas Coetzee in Grade 4 held the Meridian Pinehurst name high when he completed the Junior Cape Argus Pick n Pay Cycle Tour.

Well done on this amazing feat!


Adrian Johnson, our under 9 athlete, won a gold medal at the recent Welgemoed Primary athletics event for the boys under 9 80 m race.

Well done Adrian.

Aquatic superstar

Zaine Deirino, a Grade 5 learner, won a gold medal in swimming for the 400 m freestyle at the Western Province Jack Currie Gala held at UWC on 18 January 2013.
