Curro Mossel Bay aims to produce well-rounded young adults with the aid of magnificent sports facilities that overlook the ocean and form part of the playing fields of the school. Two rugby fields are complemented by a hockey field, three tennis courts, two netball courts and an indoor hockey field. Facilities are continuously expanded and a new clubhouse overlooking the fields will soon be available where players, parents and spectators can enjoy refreshments between and after matches. Learners are encouraged to take part in at least one summer and one winter sport.
During 2016, a school hall was added the school buildings. Attached to the hall are two well-equipped kitchens with state-of-the-art equipment. The school tuck shop and cafeteria areas are especially popular with learners during break and during official functions hosted in the school hall.
The other kitchen is dedicated to the Hospitality Studies learners. It simulates an industrial kitchen, learners are trained as waiters and chefs. As part of the Hospitality Studies curriculum, these learners present restaurant evenings on a regular basis for paying guests.
A bus service from George to Mossel Bay is available at a nominal charge.
