Curro Knit for Charity

KNIT-A-THON SUCCESS Curro Mossel Bay is especially proud of their momentous efforts with the 2012 Curro Mossel Bay Knit-a-thon. Mrs Pelser was our knitting troop leader and together we all went to 'battle' with a pair of knitting needles and a ball of wool.

Even those of us with two left hands learned how to tackle knitting.  Slowly but surely THOUSANDS of colourful squares were being produced by girls and boys from Curro Mossel Bay, parents, teachers and many avid knitters from local old age homes and the community.

The Grade 2 and 3A classes won the competition for the most squares knitted (1 300) and a total of 100 blankets were carefully assembled for the especially chilly winter we experienced this year.
