Welcome to
Curro Klerksdorp

Curro Klerksdorp, formerly Saint Conrad’s College, was recently acquired by Curro Holdings. The original campus opened its doors in 1965 and it has since become a landmark in North West and further afield.

Curro Klerksdorp’s grounds and facilities provide an environment and setting that are conducive to effective and meaningful teaching and learning. However, a school does not consist of its buildings alone. It is the people who make a school. Curro Klerksdorp has attracted a teaching staff that is driven by a passion for education, a wealth of experience, a desire for continued success, and unfaltering integrity. This, together with dedicated, hard-working learners, has resulted in us being recognised as a leading independent school in North West.

The small classes of learners can expect to be challenged, given all support, and be thoroughly prepared in every one of their lessons. The systems, processes and methodologies implemented at Curro Klerksdorp are tried and tested. This is evidenced by the outstanding matric results for which the school is renowned. These systems form the academic infrastructure that has allowed the school to perform at the optimum level from the outset.

Curro Klerksdorp ensures a holistic approach by embracing its proud tradition of excellence, which is evident in the many successes we have experienced. We strive to create an environment where learners can develop their own identity and individuality and grow into mature, responsible young adults, and where learners embrace the fact that they are working towards their futures.

Curro Klerksdorp is a school that focuses on the individual learner. Our learners are ultimately prepared for the tertiary studies of their choice by teaching them life skills and values such as effective communication, a great work ethic, responsibility, honesty, accountability and many more. As a school we strive to uphold our company values of child friendliness, positive discipline, a Christian ethos and values, and creative thinking. We believe that we are able to nurture our learners into future leaders who will make a real difference in the world.

Curro Klerksdorp provides state-of-the-art computer rooms, Physical Sciences and Life Sciences laboratories, Engineering Graphics and Design centres, Consumer Sciences centres, etc. Interactive whiteboards, Wi-Fi and tablets are just some of our focus areas in terms of technology. Robotics and gaming clubs provide a fantastic platform for learners to hone their analytical and technological skills.

The educators have a passion for education and therefore strive to nurture a personal relationship with learners in order to assist them in every way possible. Curro Klerksdorp is a school in pursuit of excellence with the objective of delivering happy, well-rounded individuals with an internationally renowned education.

Curro Klerksdorp will continue on its journey to delivering gameCHANGERS who will make a profound impact in the community, the province and the country at large.
