Charity outreaches at Curro Bankenveld

Various outreaches are being launched throughout the year. All our learners participate - from the Curro Kids to the high school. Learners go to specific places in need, to either do work like painting or spending time at these institutions. Playing bingo with the elderly is a highlight for both learners and the elderly. We also collect needed items like clothes, food etc. to donate to various local charities in need. We have an annual Barefoot Day where learners come to school barefoot and then donate a pair of shoes to children who have to walk barefoot to school in winter. Curro Bankenveld supports Mandela Day, Casual Day and CANSA drives, to name but a few.

Liefdadigheidsprojekte by Curro Bankenveld

The high school went to Spring Valley on 16 August 2013)as part of their community outreach programme. They  fixed up the surrounding buildings, and spent the afternoon with all the kids.

The intermediate phase collected clothes in the second term and donated them to the Kameeldrift Primary School to warm up their winter.
